One Life Charity is a grassroots 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that focuses on providing community resources, social justice, conservation, and charity.

One Life Charity was incorporated as a non-profit corporation in the state of Delaware on the fifteenth of September, 2021.

One Life Charity was founded because of the urgent and necessary need to transition society away from the current profit motive education and economic model which is responsible for creating such global environmental and social catastrophe.

Albert Einstein predicted this in his 1949 publication titled “Why Socialism?” He theorized that “the profit motive, in conjunction with competition among capitalists, is responsible for an instability in the accumulation and utilization of capital which leads to increasingly severe depressions. Unlimited competition leads to a huge waste of labor, and to that crippling of the social consciousness of individuals.”

He concluded that “there is only one way to eliminate these grave evils, namely through the establishment of a socialist economy, accompanied by an educational system which would be oriented toward social goals. In such an economy, the means of production are owned by society itself and are utilized in a planned fashion. A planned economy, which adjusts production to the needs of the community, would distribute the work to be done among all those able to work and would guarantee a livelihood to every man, woman, and child. The education of the individual, in addition to promoting his own innate abilities, would attempt to develop in him a sense of responsibility for his fellow men in place of the glorification of power and success in our present society."

Since Einstein’s publication in 1949, our political, economic, and educational systems have increasingly become more unstable under the weight of profit motive-driven economics. Currently, our politics are corrupted by massive corporations that fund candidates to represent their interests instead of the health and well-being of their community. The wealth gap in this country has continued to expand and create a more dire economic situation for the vast majority of its citizens. And human society is suffering from the impacts of environmental pollution caused by the deregulation of laws that protect us from profit-driven corporations.

Albert Einstein's solution was to transition society into a “planned economy” that would adjust production and resources to the needs of the community and distribute jobs among the able. Under a planned economy, education would focus on developing a sense of responsibility for the environment and community in place of the glorification of power and success.
